Retreat Facilitation

Retreat Facilitation

When your group needs time away from the pace and content of its traditional activities to refresh, rethink and strategize, a retreat may be just the solution. For companies, organizations, divisions and departments of up to 200 people, Kitty Cole & Associates can translate your objectives into meaningful activities and results that will leave you and your participants feeling energized and eager. She has worked with a broad range of clients from AT&T Wireless to Prudential California Realty to Special Olympics.

Whether you want to tackle annual planning, training, team building or a myriad of other goals, Kitty Cole & Associates will customize the day's activities.  Based on your goals, a half or full day retreat may include ice breaker exercises, strategic planning, brainstorming, break-out sessions, and role-playing. Kitty’s popular team building exercises address communication, vision, diversity, decision-making and optimism. Some clients have found the experience so valuable they've decided to include retreats as part of their regular schedule.

Success Stories

“Kitty has facilitated our annual office retreat for the past six years, and they just keep getting better and better. This year her “Diversity Training” set the tone for the rest of the day. It was a fabulous exercise which topped off an amazing day of personal growth and sharing. “The retreat was perfect. It was the talk of the office. Thank you.”

Debbie Ridge, Owner, Prudential California Realty, Benicia

“Thank you so much for facilitating our Development Retreat yesterday. You did a wonderful job and the feedback has been nothing but positive. I would love to discuss with you some of your other trainings and see how these might fit into next year’s plans.”

Jill Osur, Special Olympics, Pleasant Hill

“I am so glad I attended your Business Planning Retreat at the Claremont. I found it to be insightful, energetic and collaborative in a very comfortable setting. What a wonderful group of people! I felt fortunate to be surrounded by and learning about their successes and overcoming obstacles.

I left with a clear direction of what I need to do to stay on target to reach my goals this coming year. I am excited to hold myself accountable and to be working with you to propel to the next level in my career.

You did an amazing job – thank you!”

All my best, Diana Belknap, Empire Realty Associates, Danville

This retreat was your best one ever. This one was so different than the others.

The vulnerability part made it so powerful. I just wanted to tell you "Thank You". A lot of the things you discussed I am ready to implement.

Darlene Espinoza, Loan Agent, RPM Mortgage

Thank you for putting on a wonderful retreat.

Hi Kitty,

Thank you so much for Wednesday's retreat.  Not just the mechanics of the planning that took place, but for putting together a situation where I was able to meet and befriend some really amazing colleagues.

Kitty, thank you for what you have done in my life.  You know, the work that you do is really setting captives free.  People living in the prisons of their own fears and self doubts.  People who think they might want to play big, but who stay small by banging against the prison bars of their own internal governors set to slow them down.

What you do, Kitty, is you take the governors off.  Whether it's fear, or self loathing, or insecurity, or even just playing too small because it never occurred to us what could be done.  You set captives free to become great.

Your grateful friend,

Mariah Bradford, Empire Realty Associates, Walnut Creek

Thank you for such an amazing experience – the exercises, the accountability and the resources. You never cease to amaze me – Looking forward to The Next Level.
